Research Interests
I am a public management scholar exploring how governance, budgeting, and institutional design shape performance in complex public systems. Grounded in causal inference and quasi-experimental designs, my dissertation focuses on multi-level governance in U.S. higher education, examining how governance structures, inter-organizational partnerships, and public financial incentives drive institutional performance. I also extend this work to public sector unions and nonprofit organizations, including current collaborative research in Haiti, to better understand governance and accountability across diverse institutional and cultural contexts.
